QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a dynamic, Receptionist to make the place wonderful. Full of joy, a human person, give attention to details.

- Check-in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible. Assure that guest is assigned the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arrange for luggage to be delivered to the guest room.
- Issue room keys, transmit/receive telephone messages, and schedule wake-up calls.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, hours of operations, and breakfast and dining.
- Check out guests at end of the stay. Ascertain guest satisfaction; collect keys.
- Settle bills accurately through credit card or cash transactions.
- Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers using computerized or manual systems.
- Assign rooms and generate rooming, housekeeping, and maintenance lists each day.
- Answer telephone calls to screen and route calls to rooms or hotel staff. Maintain telephone logs and take messages for guests.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints.
- Preferably college degree within the hospitality industry.
- Proficient with computer programs.
- Apply oral or written communication techniques.
- Two years experience in customer service and cash handling, hotel experience preferred.
